The Koenigsegg confirmed the presence of the One 1 in March at the Geneva Motor Show, aiming this model to take the reigns of the fastest car in the world. Koenigsegg built six units of the new One 1, which have been sold already, while we will get a unique flavor of it in the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which will be held in March of 2014. According to the Swedish company of the production model has what it takes to steal the lead of the fastest car in the world.
It is worth to mention that the name of the hypercar is not accidental, since the ratio betrays kg per horsepower. More specifically, under the hood of the Koenigsegg One 1 there are 1,400 horses and the weight of the car is 1,400 kg including liquid car, and the weight of an average adult driver. Also, according to the company, the powerful model can theoretically reach a top speed of over 450 km/hr, with only restriction the resistance of tires. Still, the Swedish expect that their new creation will be able to set a world record in the 0-200 km/hr from 0-300 km/hr and 0-400 km/hr, the latter as can be touch in just 20 seconds!
Bear in mind that the record for the fastest production car in the world still holds the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport WRE, World Record Edition, which reaches 415 km/hr, electronically limited, but the tweaked Veyron Super Sport WRE, without electronic limit, recorded 431 km/hr.
