The German company presented a new model with LPG fueling, with an engine that starts from 140 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The car is on sale for a starting price of 26,950 euros.
In Opel they are focusing on the GPL, for the many needs of motorists because of the increased constant price of gasoline. After Insignia, Zafira Tourer is now also available as car with a liquefied petroleum gas, leading to eight models from the German version of the GPL. The LPG-powered by the 1.4 Turbo Tech, is for sale for only 26,950 euros (VAT included).
This unit delivers 140 hp and 200 Nm of torque (between 1,850 and 4,900 rpm) in either LPG or petrol powered condition. In the LPG mode, the German car consumes 8.6 liters per 100 kilometers, with CO2 emissions to 139 g / km (gasoline mode: 6.7 l/100 km, 156 g / km CO2). Compared to the gasoline engine, the operating cost for the LPG is lower by about 40%.
The tank for LPG has a volume of about 60 liters and is integrated under the floor so as to ensure the full accessibility to the boot. With a full tank of Zafira Tourer LPG reaches a maximum range of about 650 km, while also using the petrol tank, you can travel 1,500 kilometers without stopping.
