The panels are finished in black piano lacquer and chrome acquiring significantly simpler structure. The operation of the infotainment system as the AC is quickl and intuitively only with the aid of a few buttons. The new generation of infotainment of Insignia is controlled via a color touch 8 inch screen. From the home screen, the driver can access all the functions and submenus as radio stations, song titles, link smartphone or 3D maps navigation button, touch screen, voice control or the new touchpad. The infotainment system is customizable, it can store up to 60 personal preferences. The touchpad is ergonomically integrated into the center console and offers a new way to quickly and intuitive access the infotainment system. The backlit touchpad reacts instantly to finger gestures and the tangible interaction simplifies the operation of the infotainment without disrupting the driver’s attention.
The Opel Insignia has its own terms and in terms of driving and chassis assemblies. While the middle model has already received numerous awards for its driving comfort, behavior and its footing, the new version rises category. Opel engineers have made various improvements to the framework-dampers, anti roll bars and steering, achieving reduced levels of noise and vibration and higher comfort. With the Opel Insignia, customers can choose from three types of fuel engines with: petrol, diesel and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Their power ranges from 81kW/110hp to 239kW/325hp. The new Insignia 2.0 CDTI is a champion of ecology and economy. Thanks to the new 2.0 turbo diesel, the versions of 88kW/120hp and 103kW/140hp are emitting CO2 of just 99g/km in accordance with the Regulation EG Nr. 715/2007.
