As we see, the stronger version is currently the M235i which delivers 20 horsepower less than the 1 Series M Coupe. This basically confirms that it will be followed by BMW M2. Until then, BMW sought to endow the M235i with goodies such as brakes M Sport, Adaptive M Suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers, electronic locking rear differential (integrated in DSC), and mechanical differential lock which is optional.
