The exhibition in Beijing (April 23-May 2) hosted the world premiere Mercedes: the so called “Style Concept Coupé”. This is a prototype four-seat, with a decidedly sporty soul and a cutting edge design. “With this car we intend to establish a proper benchmark – said from the house of Stuttgart the president of the car manufacturer – with which the sports cars of the mid to higher education should be measured in future.”

The Style Coupe is still a prototype and in this capacity it will be presented, but it is close to series production. Many distinctive features of this car are: the bonnet with power domes and the integrated into the front bezel diamond effect, the innovative headlamps and a deep dynamic profile on the sides. The panoramic roof fills the cabin with light, while the 20 inch wheels are turbine designed.

The interior surfaces are composed with rich contrasts and with a carbon fibre trim for the entire width of the dashboard, a wide centre console with a multimedia “always on” system which is connected to the internet. This innovative home Mercedes Coupe is powered by a 2.0-liter petrol turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 211 hp, coupled with the 4MATIC all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission which is 7G-DCT dual-clutch.
