A unique lighter prototype, based on the 12C, with many new features of carbon fiber and titanium developed by McLaren, which aims to satisfy further more the prospective buyer. McLaren has announced the construction in collaboration with the MSO, technical department specific upgrades of a brand new concept, based on the 12C, which has a more racing characteristics, compared with the base model, while it is a supercar with several customized options, depending on the preferences of each client.
In particular, the new McLaren 12C concept, which is currently single, has a redesigned hood, new front bumpers and rear with carbon fiber, new air intake grilles in front and on the roof. Also, the wheels of the model are made from lightweight aluminum alloy with titanium details for further weight reduction.
As for the interior, there has been widespread use of carbon fiber while white accents are on the steering wheel, console and dashboard. Furthermore, it is given the possibility of each customer to select the final details inside the supercar and the hue of the external model.
