The production of one of the most incredible supercars in history, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was completed about a year ago, but, according to a statement made by the British Ricardo providing sophisticated seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox in the Franco-German hypercar, the production of the Veyron Grand Sport will be extended until 2014.
Bugatti has in fact renewed the contract with Ricardo for the provision of sophisticated DSG until the end of next year. Mark Barge, director of “high-performance transmission” about the extension of co-operation with the Bugatti said: “We are pleased to announce the further extension of the collaboration between Ricardo and Bugatti, which among other things has detected a great success. Veyron is the ultimate in terms of quality of design, engineering and manufacturing, and we are proud to have been able to successfully expand the support for Bugatti, which is necessary for the future production of the Veyron Grand Sport.
Now we have to see if the next production of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport will bring some kind of novelty – both aesthetically and technically – the sport car that has more than 1000 HP of the company of Molsheim, or if you simply have a new limited series to satisfy requests for new customers.
