The revamped Ford Focus is going to impress at the upcoming Geneva Salon for both the aggressive appearance of and for the exceptional EcoBoost engines which are provided. The refreshed Ford Focus will be at the Geneva Motor Show in a few days, revealing the fresh appearance, which is borrowed from the latest models of the brand. More specifically, the front of the compact model bearing the Aston Martin style mask, which undoubtedly is a very impressive and aggressive appearance. The lights have been redesigned and the bumper, both front and back. Still, the taillights have changed little, but the graphics have changed in relation to the current generation. Inside the revamped Ford Focus found a world more simple. The Ford left many switches-buttons and placed a new infotainment system, which simplified the functions which need immediate driver-passenger. Also, the design of the steering wheel is changed, and the cockpit became more ergonomic.
Regarding to the mechanical sets, the renewed Ford Focus will be fitted with the new 1.5 liter EcoBoost engine, which delivers 150 and 180 horsepower. Also, the new 1.5 liter diesel engine will be available in two versions, with 95 and 120 hp. Of course, the engine range will not be complete without the award winning 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine which, according to Ford, is the first engine is a hybrid family car with emissions CO2 100 g/km. Upgraded by 14% in consumption and efficiency is 2.0 liters TDCi diesel.
Ford has said that the skeleton of the updated model is more robust and has upgraded suspension system and systems that help stabilize the car. Also, among the advanced goodies there and Pre-Collision, which prevents collisions at speeds up to 50 km/hr, since the braking system intervenes automatically brakes the vehicle. The Ford Focus facelift will be officially presented to the public in early March at the Geneva Motor Show, with rumors said that soon there will be a stronger version (ST) of the compact car and a plug in hybrid Focus, which will borrowed technology from plug in C-MAX.
