Honda has unveiled the latest generation of the FCEV Concept, an electric vehicle that will be launched in 2015 and equipped with a fuel cell system performance 136 hp, while autonomy reaches 480 km. The FCEV is a prototype electric vehicle with fuel cell system, which is the latest version of a project that keeps 20 years, with the previous version FCX and FCX Clarity. This concept is therefore a precursor to a production model that will be launched in 2015 initially in the Land of the Rising Sun and then in Europe, as announced by the Japanese brand.

It also offers a comfortable interior space and seating for five passengers, thanks to the reduced capacity requirements of the drive system. In mechanical level now, the FCEV of Honda will include significant technological improvements in fuel cell stack compared to the previous FCX Clarity yielding over 136 horsepower, with power density now 3kW/l, an increase that reaches 60% compared with the current knowledge.
