The first contact with the new Qashqai was the four wheel drive version with the diesel engine of 1.6 liters. The overall picture of the car was very positive and we think the top version is the best for those who want it all. Beyond that, those who do not need all wheel drive, have several alternatives and as we saw with this 1.2 liter motor, it is quite remarkable. The truth is that from the sound and only of the combination of 1,318 kg with 1.2 liter engine, the grip is reasonable and expected. In practice, however, the job of the engineers of Nissan as it is transferred to the driver, is a very pleasant surprise. Let’s take things from the beginning.

The bodywork is admittedly very beautiful. The tempo of modern whichever way you look at it, and with a very subtle way, without hiding its affinity with the outgoing succeeds and leaves a completely different aftertaste. For passengers, the available space in the cabin is what you can ask for. Comfortable for two adults to sit in the back, while the concessions that a third person will apply is really low. Pleasant facility is across many storage areas for items. In all of the above, the quality environment with good materials on all surfaces, excellent finish and thoroughly modern aesthetic on the dashboard. The new Qashqai with smaller powerplant travels pleasant and not betray any circumstances the capacity of the engine only when the driver require acceleration speed of nearly 100 km/hr, is hung with the 6th gear selected. In such cases, due to the sparse scaling gear ratio, you may need even download two relations. Either way, however, the job will be done, just spoiling the average consumption, which is the holy grail of our day.

In any case, the 116 HP engine stands in whatever you ask the driver. Even at high engine load, the Qashqai remains pleasant and safe on all roads. The robustness and very good suspension setting boosts the morale of the driver, who even when pushed, has a complete mesh electronic devices to protect him from the pitfalls. The distance of the body from the ground and the big size of the wheels offer the basic package to move anyone off the road. In mild and clear without dirt mud, where a few words could go and a typical passenger, the Qashqai will show you the most comfortable.
