After nine months of closure for renovation in the recent weeks has reopened the Skoda Museum. Located in the historic building of Mlada Bolesav, the original seat of the Czech company through the 1,800 square meters of exhibition is retraced the 117-year history of the brand with 46 cars on display, hundreds of documents and multimedia experience with images, videos and testimonies.
“It’s our business card, a meeting point, a channel of communication and attraction, in short, the perfect place to fully enjoy our brand – these statements were made by Winfried Vahland, president of the company – In coming years, Skoda will grow worldwide. When you are behind the wheel, before overtaking it you must always look in the mirrors: this is what we intend to do with the new museum. “
There are three main areas within the museum: Tradition, accuracy and Evolution. The first section shows the values of the brand, the second is dedicated to the production of the cars, while the third presents a journey into the past. There was also created a dining area with Vaclav cafe-restaurant, while children will enjoy the dedicated, getting behind the wheel of a toy car.
