After the first version that was shown at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the British concept car of the brand is renewed with a model that is dedicated to the five circles review with the Union Jack as a protagonist.
There is no much more than a month at the 2012 London Olympics and a taste of Mini, a British brand of excellence that could not help but celebrate in the British capital. It was born, with a redesign of the Rocketman Concept, presented in the first version at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, with the Union Jack flag of Great Britain, as a main protagonist of this car. Moreover, BMW Group will be on display in the pavilion, near the Olympic village.
The four posts car (3+1), with three doors and a length of just over three meters is using blue colors and white and red (those of the British flag) both outside and inside the car. The dominant color on the body is dark blue, with 18-inch alloy wheels in black, as are the mirror caps, the radiator grille and the headlights. The red, instead, it is noted on the front grill and in the contour of the roof.
In the sporty interior of the concept, however, the dominant color is white, used for the seats and the dashboard, while the head restraint and the interior door panels are in blue (red is mentioned on many details). In addition to the British Union Jack, the Olympics are called up into the door panels, in which are printed the names of the cities hosting the festival in the previous editions of the five circles.
