So, if possible keep pouring boiling water on the surface until you’re done.
Hair dryer to the rescue
An alternative to boiling water is hair dryer. To start off, heat the dent with the dryer at its highest temp. The heat will expand the plastic of the car and make it flexible. As soon as the dented part is heated, grab a can of compressed air begin and spraying the area. The cold air will cause the plastic to contract, popping out the dent as a result.
Dry ice
While mainly used for cooling stuff, dry ice is perfect for fixing a small dent. It is very easy to use and fast to deliver results. Simply rub the ice on the car dent until you hear it pop back into place. Make sure to wear gloves as you do so to keep the ice from burning your hand. For effective result, try heating the dent with a hairdryer first before applying the dry ice.
