Given the great success of the Golf 7, Volkswagen extends the range of the new car, introducing the four-wheel drive 4Motion. Hence, the Volkswagen Golf 4Motion is already in advance since last December 22 and will arrive in a month in our dealerships, so we can be able to see it live. In two trim levels and two engines (both diesel) the car will be available, with prices starting from € 24,000.

There are new aesthetic, if not the logo 4Motion in the back of the car, but is very rich in the standard equipment. Among the facilities there are the EDS on all four wheels, electronic differential lock XDS transverse to the front and rear, electronic stability program, anti-collision multiple braking, electric windows, multifunction display (trip computer) and TFT display with touchscreen.

The higher set, however, adds automatic climate control, bluetooth preparation, alloy wheels with sports suspension and sports front seats. As mentioned, there are two engines for the European market: the 1.6 TDI with 105 hp and the 2.0 TDI with 150 hp, both combined with a six-speed manual gearbox.

According to reports by the German company, in this configuration, the Golf has reduced by 15% on fuel consumption.
