Bounces directly by the Chinese media reporting that the Volkswagen CrossBlue and CrossBlue Coupe will arrive in the production phase in 2015, taking advantage of the assembly integrated in a brand new establishment.
The CrossBlue is a seven-seat crossover (are five seats for the CrossBlue Coupe) that will be inserted in the offer at the turn of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Touareg, with particular attention to the needs of some markets narrowly.
The model will be built by Wolfsburg in a joint venture with the Chinese partner Shanghai and will be born based on the MQB modular platform. The production forecast for the Volkswagen CrossBlue and CrossBlue Coupé is about 300,000 copies a year, while the assembly will take place in the factory in Changsha, province of Hunan.
In the same plant the German manufacturer should give birth to a new larger than the Passat, a high-end car coming within a couple of years which is destined, according to the rumors spread so far, mainly for the Chinese market.
