The first official teaser of the much expected electric SUV was presented last Monday at the International Electric Vehicle Symposium in Los Angeles.

A first teaser and a short ad described: Toyota RAV4 EV will be officially presented on the 7th of May, on the occasion of the International Electric Vehicle Symposium No. 26 of Los Angeles. This is the first example of an all-electric SUV; a collaboration between the Japanese automaker and Tesla, which will provide the motor and lithium batteries that power this new car.

Toyota has not released any further information on this model; they did study it for over a couple of years, even though rumors speak of a range of about 160 km. The RAV4 EV will be released by the car manufacturers in Woodstock, Canada, after receiving the components from California Tesla. For the rest of the information and the official photos of electric SUV, we have to wait a few days and see if next month they will be released.
