To celebrate its thirtieth anniversary, Fiat Panda 4×4 is presented at the IAA with a new special version. It is the Fiat Panda 4×4 Antarctic Limited Edition 4×4 set up on the Rock, which in Europe is marking sales mix of 15%.

The new special series are characterized, on the outside, for the two-tone body – white with black roof – and some particular elements that add personality to the small city car suitable for off-road with alloy wheels 15 “gray diamond, bezel orange, fog lights , tinted glass, mirror housings painted orange badge and dedicated on the central pillar. Inside instead, stands the gray and orange color combination for coatings. Marketed in a limited edition by the end of the year, Fiat Panda 4×4 Antarctic will be available with engines 900 cc TwinAir 85 HP 1.3 Multijet II diesel engine and 75 bhp, both equipped with Start & Stop system.

Also confirmed on this special series Antartica strengths the 4×4 model that last year was awarded “SUV of the Year 2012” from the British magazine Top Gear. There is then the transmission system “torque on demand”, which starts automatically when you need it. Panda 4×4 offers then the fitted standard with ESC (Electronic Stability Control) Full function ELD (Electronic Locking Differential), as a further aid to driving and at the cue at the start of a slippery paths.

For the best grip on any surface, Antarctic Panda 4×4 is equipped with special tires Winter 175/65 R15 84T M + S. Only supermini is to propose the standard edition, the specific tires Snow Flake have been designed for use on ice and snow, but also on the road and dirt road.
