When we speak of aesthetic customization and mechanics of Audi models, the first name that comes to mind is undoubtedly that of the tuner ABT which has always been specialized in the transformation of the models of the four rings. The last work of the computer has affected the German A4, which was declined in both sedan and station wagon. The average of the Ingolstadt brand has been the subject of aesthetic and mechanical changes from the atelier of Kempten, able to give her a new vitality and an unprecedented sporting image.
Aesthetically, the car gains a full aerodynamic body kit that includes a front spoiler and side skirts especially on profiled magazines, while the rear has been with a small wing and a brand new air extractor that incorporates four menacing sports exhaust in stainless steel. The kit is completed by a new sports suspension with stiffer springs and short, paired with burnished alloy wheels, available in sizes 19 and 20 inches.
If the aesthetic suggests the sporting qualities of this car, the preparation kit dedicated to the thrusters of the A4 leaves no doubt about ability “racing” of this model ehich is appropriately modified. On the front of the petrol engines, ABT offers the 1.8-liter TFSI and 2.0 liters, respectively enhanced from 170 to 211 hp and from 225 to 270 hp, thanks to some targeted interventions such as replacing the ECU.
At the top of the range is the generous 3.0-liter TFSI engine powered of 108 hp, for a total of 380 hp and 500 Nm of torque. As for the diesel units, the German coach has put his hands on the quiet 2.0-liter TDI with 140 hp bringing it to a height of 205 hp, while the 3.0-liter TDI has been turned into a “monster” of power, able to switch from 245 hp native, up to a peak of 300 hp.
