The British company has made the customary trip to Rovaniemi, and they asked from Santa Claus to deliver directly to the wishes of children. This time it has established a Guinness World Record.

It is approaching Christmas in the streets and from houses we can see more and more lights and trees, for children it is time to write the classic letter to Santa Claus. As it has become customary, Mini made the trip to Rovaniemi on the Arctic Circle, to deliver directly into the hands of Santa Claus the required list of gifts. And this year, it has set a Guinness Book of Records: 75,954 wishes for a very long list of 3798.5 meters.

To establish this primacy, the British car manufacturer has involved a total of 16 countries in the collection of desires: Germany, Italy, UK, Portugal, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Russia , United States of America and Singapore. In fact, the participation has since expanded to 30 countries, including Ghana, Palestine and Ecuador, which are farthest from the received wishes for Santa Claus.

Of course, the stars of the trip were also cars and in particular, Mini Paceman. It ‘s the seventh model created by the British brand and is the first Sports Activity Coupé in the premium compact segment, the Mini ALL4 all-wheel drive. It  is available at launch with four engines, this car is on sale in Europe from € 24,500 for the version with 122 hp 1.6-liter gasoline engine.
