Audi is ready to launch the new version S3 Sportback. A completely new car from the technical point of view and with regards to the engine, the four-cylinder 2.0 has been revised. Another novelty is the five-door “for even greater functionality.” It will be presented at the next Geneva Motor Show (7-17 March), and will arrive on the European markets from September 2013.

The new S3 Sportback will be powered by the 2.0 TFSI, which has increased the power up to 300 hp and decreased weight (-5 kg). In combination with the S tronic six-speed (optional) the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5 seconds, while the six-speed manual transmission takes five tenths more. The speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h, with both transmissions.

The weight reduction is not just the engine, but in the entire car: this version is 1445 kg unladen, to a lighter model of 70 kg. There is also some new aesthetic: the grille is equipped with double horizontal bars in aluminum look and the insert is in platinum gray opaque are integrated into the bumper vents with double groove aluminum look.
