The German company is ready to introduce in the market the diesel version of the SUV with the twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8. CO2 emissions and less fuel consumption will be the motto, thanks to the introduction of the Start & Stop system.
Here is the Porsche Cayenne Diesel with the appearance of the gasoline model, but with the new diesel engine. The German will introduce this new version which is powered by the twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8 in order to reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The car will be launched in the European market in January 2013, with a price of 80,253 € (VAT and national specifications included).
The only new aesthetic is the word “diesel” on the front of the wheel arches, while further technical advice are the most interesting. This version of the SUV is equipped with an active all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management in order to combine the qualities of driving a rear wheel drive car with the advantages in terms of manoeuvrability and precision. For those who want an even sportier drive the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus is also available.
