Get ready, because the S63 AMG Coupe is no longer the top S-Class Coupe, as the people of Mercedes launched recently the S65 AMG Coupe, which carries a 6 litre, V12 twin-turbo engine with a power of 630 hp and a torque of 1.000 Nm. It is a car with stunning beauty which offers the luxury that only a brand like Mercedes can offer.

As expected, the visual differences between the S65 AMG Coupe and the V8 S63 AMG Coupe are minimal and summarized in the shiniest grille mask and their respective ducts, the yellow brake calipers, the wheels that come in different designs, the most dynamic rear bumper diffuser and of course, the «V12 BITURBO» badge.

Under the long hood is the 6 litre V12 twin-turbo engine of the S65 AMG Sedan, the validity of which is 630 hp, while the torque is 1.000 Nm. The above values allow the S65 AMG Coupe to reach 0-100 km/hr in 4.1 seconds which is -0.2 seconds than the S63 AMG Coupe, while the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/hr.

The movement is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC, while this gives the suspension Magic Body Control. The 20 inch wheels fitted with tires have a dimension of 255/40 R 20 front and 285/35 R 20 rear, and can accept ceramic brakes which are lighter by 20%.

The Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe will be first available in Germany from this September, while the price, although there’s no official announcement, is expected to begin from around 215,000 dollars.
